When you’re constantly on the move, transforming your life physically may seem out of reach. Fortunately, it’s much easier than you may think. Here’s a guide to healthy eating on the go!
If you know you’ve got a busy day ahead of you, bring some healthy snacks with you so you’re prepared when hunger strikes. For example, high-quality beef or turkey jerky is a good source of protein, and because it doesn’t need to be refrigerated, it’s a great snack when you’re on the go. Just make sure you read the label to make sure it’s not full of added sugar!
If you can keep them cool, hardboiled eggs are another great option because they offer six to seven grams of protein and they’re easy to pack around. The same goes for Greek yogurt, hummus and vegetables, cheese, and fruits and veggies.
Of course, your favorite Yoli products will also come in handy! A glass of Lean Greens will give you a full serving of vegetables, and a serving of YES will give you twelve grams of high-quality protein, as well as a potent blend of fruits and vegetables. Either one will make an awesome snack on the go!
When you’re hungry and on the go, you may find yourself stopping at a restaurant for something to eat. Many restaurants have a section of their menu dedicated to lighter fare, so keep an eye out for that. If there’s not a special section devoted to healthy options, look for grilled or baked lean protein and vegetables, and stick with water to drink.
If your only option is fast food, that may seem like a nightmare, but don’t worry! While fast food restaurants aren’t typically known for their healthy options, most places will have at least a few things that you can choose between. A grilled chicken salad is usually a safe bet, provided you get the dressing on the side. If they’ll let you swap out the bun for a lettuce wrap, a burger can be a good choice, as could a grilled chicken sandwich. If not, you can always enjoy it without the bun!
